Collegium Symphonic Chorus
Since its inception in 1997, the Collegium Symphonic Chorus has impressed and mesmerised audiences throughout Australia and overseas, including New York, Salzburg and Vienna. Led by internationally-acclaimed conductor Dr Margaret Pride, the chorus comprises close to 100 disciplined, enthusiastic and passionate individuals who are skilled in performing the works of some of the best choral composers throughout the ages.
- The Collegium Symphonic Chorus is undoubtedly one of the best choirs I have worked with. The professionalism and attention to detail in their singing is second to none. Add to this a genuine openness and friendly atmosphere and you have a choir of unique quality. Christopher Saunders (Tenor)
- Collegium Symphonic Chorus is a group of hard-working, disciplined and enthusiastic choristers who sing with all the emotional integrity and technical accuracy that makes a great choir. Working alongside them is both a great honour and pleasure. Sara Macliver (Soprano).
- The notable quality that sets Collegium Symphonic Chorus apart is their passion for the music. Both Chorus and Music Director's commitment to a performance is palpable and the results are thrilling for audience and participants alike. This combined effort of community and professional music making is a beacon, and should be supported at every opportunity. Fiona Campbell (Mezzo-Soprano).
